Alright, so I needed an extra hanging rod in my closet, and I picked up this adjustable one. It's black metal, pretty basic looking, which is what I wanted. The big selling point for me was the adjustable length – it goes from 17 to 67 inches, which is a pretty wide range. My closet isn't huge, so I didn't need the full 67 inches, but it was nice to have the flexibility.Installation was pretty straightforward. It comes with these threaded ends that you screw into the wall (or the sides of your closet, in my case). It felt pretty sturdy once I got it in there, definitely strong enough to hold a decent amount of clothes. I loaded it up with a bunch of shirts and a few heavier sweaters, and it didn't budge. I was a little worried about it being flimsy, especially at the longer lengths, but it seems solid so far.The black finish is nice and doesn't look cheap. It matches my other closet hardware, which is a plus. Honestly, it's just a closet rod, so there's not a whole lot to say about it. It does what it's supposed to do – it holds clothes. I like that it's adjustable, and it feels sturdy.

This closet rod set comes with all the hardware you need to install it. Installation was super easy and successful. Clothes hangers slide easily from one side to another – a huge improvement over previous closet rods we have installed. I especially like that both ends of the rod are securely attached to a bracket with a screw. I pulled and pushed on it once assembled, and it is very secure. I also like that it is an adjustable size. For now, It is installed in an awkward corner of my closet that was built under a staircase. Hard to describe and even harder to use this space! The fact that the bar size is adjustable means that if I decide to move it to a larger space, I can.

I was skeptical when I found this closet rod that was large enough for a 65" wide closet. I did not think it would be substantial enough to hold any weight of clothes. Then I put it together. It screws together in sections and the last section extends as far as you need it and then the extended section screws together to maintain its length. Very cleaver and very solid. I still was concerned that it might fold under the weight of the clothes so I modified the installation procedure. I located the studs in the closet and installed 6" 3/4" plywood squares on each end and screwed them into the studs. I installed the end brackets from the kit on the plywood squares. The thing about closets is that you can't control how much junk people will try and load on the closet rod. So being the over cautious sole I am, I installed a center brace. Very nice with a black powder coat.

Just a heads up, it is NOT a 3 pack as shown in photo but rather are 3 "pieces", rods or sections of the bar. It is a single hanging bar that has sections to fit together for a longer rod. That being said, it does a great job at what it is supposed to do, which is to install it to hang clothes on it. Instructions could be a little clearer, but I was able to figure it out by putting the rods together. As I stated and an overall rating as a hanging rod it does a great job at what it is designed to do.

I hung up this rod on a bookshelf in our playroom to hang up dress up clothes! The installation was super easy. I was worried at first that the screws would be too long and stick out of the bookshelf but a second set of smaller screws were included and worked perfectly! The rod is made of strong metal that is very sturdy and not easily breakable.

I wouldn't say its the best quality, but it works. I needed it for a baby closet so the clothes isn't terribly heavy. I don't know about using it for adult clothes.

I had 2 potential places to install this when I ordered it, so I was very happy to see that it would have worked for either of them. My decision was to put it in my laundry room. Installation was very easy as the instructions were good. It's very sturdy and I'm not concerned that it will sag in the center. I would recommend this product.

Definitely not “heavy dutyâ€. This product claims to be able to manage a 40lb load. This pic is with seven medium and lightweight jackets and it’s already bowing quite a bit. There’s no way it can hold 40 lbs. it’s worthless.
