Instructions for use
- The Max R.P.M of 1/4 shank surfacing router bit is 18000.
- Use on CNC and other automatic routers as well as hand-held and table-mounted portable routers.
- Please pinned it to the line of the bit shaft. Inserting the shaft into the collet too little may cause the shaft to bend.
COST-EFFECTIVE INSERT BIT
The surfacing router bit utilizes 4-sided solid carbide inserts. All 4 edges of carbide inserts can be used, use a screwdriver to make other blade edge outside. Replace the carbide inserts when needed, instead of replacing the whole bit. Cost effective solution compared to brazed router bits and solid carbide spiral bits.

this thing works better than I thought it was going to. Had a 5 foot wide red Oak cookie that it cleaned down beautifully. 1st time I did this and it cut like butter. Skeptical at 1st because it was my 1st time but no problem. I would buy this again good value.

After having ordered a $16 BINSTAK CNC 1" x 1/4" shank flattening bit some time ago, I finally got to using it yesterday on a very warped 24x24 end-grain cutting board. It was a struggle, even with very light 1/64" passes with very slow feed rate. It was literally tearing out the wood grain - in the field - not just at the edges, which told me it was not sharp enough. So I decided not to ruin a very expensive cutting board, and ordered an awesome upgrade flattening bit from Amazon (THIS ONE!), which arrived this morning. What an amazing difference!!! This thing glided right thru that end grain like butter! The upgrade was worth every penny, and will likely serve me for life, with replaceable cutter inserts. Don't go cheap! Get a good quality bit!!!

The large 3' cutter makes routing a large slab a lot quicker, it is best to keep the depth of cuts thinner because you are cutting a lot more area at each pass. Like most large cutters it dulls quicker than smaller cutters and has to be cleaned more than small cutters. Great way to speed up processing and does the job well. Minimal sanding to remove cut lines when co0mplete.

I flattened both sides of three cutting boards today. This router bit is amazing. Smooth, fast, and clean cuts. Highly recommend.

Oh how sweet this tool is to use. Cuts a wide area reliably and smoothly. Minimizes cleanup. I’ve been working on a live edge slab table top. I tried using planes and sander’s to get a flat surface and wound up with the surface equivalent to the ocean. This tool has completely changed my approach. Thanks technology for your contribution to bolster my skills! BTW, thanks to Amazon for providing this seller the opportunity to introduce me to their products.

The tool works very well. I found that if I climb cut it will leave witness lines in the wood. However, if I move the cut in the conventional direction it works great. It leaves no witness lines and is very smooth.

I purchased this to flatten large wood slabs with my hand held router(DeWalt 2.25hp) - it is working well so far. I've leveled/flattened 2 24 inch by 16 inch slabs. Zero issues, and a quality cut line. I'm very happy with this product (again, so far).Will update if any issues arise.
