After doing a bunch of research about why I was having low input levels with my new Shure SM7B Mic + Focusrite Scarlett Solo Audio Interface I decided to try a pre-amp booster. The stealth seemed like the best bang for the buck and sure enough it worked like a charm. The Stealth went in nicely between the Shure and the Scarlett and blends in perfectly on the boom arm so I don't have an extra box and cable sitting on my desk. I can now turn down the gain on my audio interface and get much more input from the mic than I did previously and with no extra noise. Really great product and less expensive than the Cloudlifter that was recommended to me.Very happy customer here, thanks Coda!

I picked up a mic that required 48V and had researched several amp options (5 in total). Two were top contenders and ultimately I went with the Coda Stealth. I couldn't be happier. Looks great on my mic and low profile arm. Quality is insane with no introduced noise and an amazing increase in decibels, so much so, I lowered my mic volume down to 38% and it sounds amazing for zoom calls, OBS captures and for Discord. Love it and have recommended it to others already and recommending it to you here now (via this review).

I purchased a Triton Fethead and really didn’t notice a difference in my XLR mic setup…as in next to nothing. I had almost given up when I decided to try this brand.I am running in in between two XLR cables so it doesn’t stick out if the back of my preamp or too far out of my mic so it was an easy install. Once it was plugged in…I immediately noticed a difference and it was 10 times better than the Fethead. I was able to adjust my gain down at least a quarter of the way, if not more. There is no noise introduced and my mic audio is clear and clean.Super happy with my purchase. Not only does it sound better and work better than a Fethead but it was also thirty dollars less expensive. Huge win in my book!

Omg, just buy this thing! I sing with a big band, and I've been battling with equipment trying to get a decent sound that will boost my vocals at least even to a 15-piece orchestra. I plug this into my little four-channel mixer, and then went into my QSC 8, well I had been using the QSC before, it just couldn't compete with all the brass orchestration. Once I added this to my microphone, what an immediate and noticeable difference! Not only was I competing with, but I was singing above the entire band, without any effort, and with phenomenally clear and high fidelity sound! I was absolutely thrilled! And everybody in the rhythm section who was next to me, asked me what I had done different this week at rehearsal!! I'm going to buy another one just to have on hand for additional vocalists in my other bands. You need this item! Do not hesitate to buy it!

I bought 2 of these abut a year ago. They worked great at first but all of a sudden I noticed the preamp on my Focusrite interface was not working. I chucked it up to the interface being old since I'd had it about 5 years. So I bought a new Mackie interface. Everything was working quite well and I don't use it a lot. But noticed that one day I had to turn up the gain in OBS, which was unusual because with the in line booster I had plenty of volume and never had to add any before. So I didn't think much about it but then about 2 weeks later, tried to use the setup and nothing. Mic preamp is blown on my new Mackie interface. I tried different cable, mics, and both of the Coda Stealth units and got nothing. So be very weary of this product.

I Have A Shure Mv7x and This Was just What I Needed to Give The Gain I wanted. Just Make Sure You Have Phantom Power For Your Interface or Mixer for This.

Got this over the clark teknik because I liked the way the little bit of coloration sounded. I like it on my own voice as well and it helped reduce noise by raising my signal volume so I don't have to crank my gain as much.

This is not a noisless in line amplifier so any mic that has a lot of hiss is going to sound pretty bad. Works well for stuff on stage however as long as your xlr equipment does not have too much noise

Stealth in-Line Mic Preamp, Active Booster for Dynamic and Ribbon Microphones - Reduce Noise and Add Clarity to Your Podcast or Livestream, by Coda Music TechnologiesWell -- i went from a cheaper "Mayano" dynamite inline preamp to this one which is a bit better in terms of adding a bit more power behind the Shure sm7b -- i find this pretty clean sounding whilst adding a bit more juice. The only thing i that is a bit annoying is that its a bit thick so it gets in the way of the RODE PSA100 scissor mount at certain mounting positions. It works just fine --- just OCD. I'm not sure why others say "this is really noisy" because it isnt. Perhaps others have some EM noise in the area? i'm not sure but this is whisper quiet to me and doesnt introduce any noticeable noise to the signal

I don't have experience with other similar products so I can't compare, but I'm extremely satisfied with this product. Without it, I would always find myself playing around with filters searching for a way to get the sound quality I was looking for from various dynamic mics, but adding this mic activator really helped my audio reach what I feel is its true potential.
