I am one of those all day coffee people. I use ground coffee and k-cup. Coffee gets cold way too fast. This warming plate has three settings to keep beverage at the right temp without burning flavor. It is oversized for a regular coffee cup which is great. The automatic shut-off feature is my favorite: it activates after 8 hours of continuous use to ensure peace of mind and safety.

This mug warmer is pretty good for my morning coffee! It keeps my coffee at the perfect temperature, so I can enjoy it without it getting cold. I also like the auto shut off feature for safety reason, It’s great for not setting your house on fire.

This mug warmer is very stylish and is easy to use but it does not keep drinks hot nor heat up cold drinks. I like a big mug of tea, so after I brewed it I turned on the mug warmer to 149 degrees and put my mug on the heating plate. The mug warmer heats up quickly but it mainly just heated the cup, not the contents. After 45 minutes, my tea was lukewarm and undrinkable. I left it on the heating plate for another 15 minutes to see if the tea would get hot but it did not. It may work better with glass cups but not ceramic mugs. This was stated in the description "TIPS: Use the lid to help keep the heat in and heat up faster!" Unfortunately a lid was not included with the unit.
