How to use the Stovetop Espresso Maker
1. Load
Fill the basket with fresh, finely ground coffee. You want the coffee even, level with the top of the basket and uncompressed.
2. Fill
Pour fresh (filtered or bottled for best results) water into the base.
Take care not to fill above the level of the safety valve.
3. Assemble
Clear any grounds from the threads and place the basket inside the base.
Screw the top and bottom parts firmly together.
4. Enjoy
Place on the stove until you hear gurgling then remove and run under cold water to stop the brewing process. Enjoy!

I use this every day but only one tip for new beginners in the coffee world tighten the coffee pot before heating up because if it spills it’s because it wasn’t screwed properly

I really like having this Moka Pot. I’ve really gotten into Cuban coffee lately, but it’s not super accessible where I’m at. I ordered this so that I could make it at home.It works really good. Easy to use and clean. The handle doesn’t really get that hot, so you can pour your coffee right away without an oven mit. The only thing is that no matter how tight I screw on the bottom water resoiver, it leaks coffee out when I pour. Not a huge deal as I can easily just wipe it up with a paper towel, but something to note. I still thing this is a good value for the price.

I bought this in April but did not use it until June, as I wanted to wait to use it at our new place. This was a big mistake. I used it once and the outside stained a dark brown. The flame was low and did not go beyond the base. Some of the coffee must have spilled out onto the outer coating (white/beige) and now it is permanently stained. It looks hideous and we cannot return it due to the window having closed. Very disappointed with this product.
