That's odd that some reviews say this is close to real 550lb paracord since the one I received is not like 550 style at all.It's not the same material, density, strength, weight, or durability.You can tell by the weight, it's feather light and easily comes apart.Real parachute or utility cord tends to have a Nylon Kernmantle construction which is durable, flexible and strong.This is some type of soft polypropylene with a polyester core similar to camouflage knitting yarn so it wouldn't be ideal for projects requiring abrasion resistance.I used this on some simple garden projects and cutting it with a knife caused it to quickly shred making it impossible to thread through a small loop.This is not like real traditional arborist, climbing, army surplus or camping utility parachord.I have some that are 20 years old that are stronger than this one straight out of the package.It's light and soft so it may work well for knitting sweaters.

La textura lo unico que no me agrado tanto es que no es tan rigida. Es un producto regular, pueden encontrar muchas opciones de buen precio en tiendas reguales. (Homedepot etc..)
