It comes in a strong and attractive box and even includes a blank gift card and envelope made of quality paper. Received first item ordered with no air bubble or movement and a scratch on the glass. Was replaced with a new one that is amazing and so fun to watch! Happy with purchase and the company!

Christmas gift for my husband, who has wanted one for a couple of years. It is a great product! He is a scientist/chemist and we can tweak it to make many different designs. Some people have said it stopped working or other things but all you have to do is slope the frame to a different angle and it will make the bubbles go elsewhere. You can separate the bubbles or make it a very large bubble by holding the frame still (maybe even parallel to the stand instead of perpendicular and manuever the bubbles around).A great piece for guests to watch and very mesmerizing for children.I recommend this product. Right now, I'm listening to Dolly (I'm in East TN) and watching the sand creating a lovely black and white mountain and a couple of other smaller mounds on top of the copper layer. It would be an amazing gift. So beautiful. One can make designs with it by orienting the frame different ways. It looks good even if falling on its own. Much nicer in real than the picture. The material looks like sand and some metallic pieces that are copper color. The frame is wood. It looks stylish on a desk. I definitely recommend it as a gift. One turns over the frame to have the design change. The sand goes down similar to a sand timer and each time the design changes with gravity.

There is white and black sand and blue glitter. The black sand is denser and the sands form shapes, peaks, and layers as they fall. The 2ater is clear and clear glass. It is relaxing to watch. The Wood stand is okay, feels like unfinished wood, would be nicer if it was stained or painted finished. It is relaxing to watch the sand fall and make patterns. The size is okay. There is a small hole in the side where you can adjust the air if needed with a syringe to adjust how fast or slow the sands will fall- syringe not included. It stands up nicely, and I like that you can just flip it over to start the sands again or tilt it a little to change how the sands flow. I have found if you let it settle a bit before you flip, the sands fall better or slower. This decent for the price. The nicer ones online cost way more money.

Overall, I love this piece as a zen piece to be able to enjoy on my desk.There are times when the bubbles at the top keep the sand from going down, but if I tilt the frame a bit, it will resolve itself. It doesn't happen every flip, just occasionally. The instructions explain that you can add or subtract air as needed with a syringe, but surprisingly, I don't keep a syringe in the office (or anywhere).The colored sand tends to fall where it shows more color on one side and more of a black-and-white image on the opposite. That doesn't matter, either way is gorgeous.Everyone who comes in my office admires it. Several have commented they need something like it in their office. It is nice to watch during a boring Zoom call or after a frustrating conversation.I'm glad I purchased this item.

I saw this in one of the gift shops in Alaska, exact same style but this is better priced and I like the sand color combo better for turquoise white and gold. It's so soothing to watch...can come down super slowly and form pyramids or come down fast depending on how the bubbles are (they are the gatekeepers for the sand). Definitely very happy with this product!

We really like this!!! It’s beautifully. My only comment is the frame looks unfinished. I will put someStain on it to fix that.

When we got this there was not enough air in it to work properly but we had a syringe from another sand art we have so we used that to set the new one up so it worked. The sand mixture with all the gold colour looks awesome.
