I like the way this mill feels in my hand. Because it is smaller it takes up less space as well. The only downside is that it also has a small capacity. It only holds a couple of tablespoons of rock salt. If you are only using this at your table to hold your gourmet salt, that is plenty large enough. I would consider this mill to be a good accompaniment for a nicely appointed table.

I love, love this Salt grinder/mill. This is a high-quality mill, and I love the dark wood. Over the years, I've owned Peugeot and William Sonoma mills, and have loved the quality, and this salt grinder looks, feels, and performs just like others I've owned in the past. It is smaller but not so small that I'm constantly refilling it. I used it during Thanksgiving for 8 people, and I've yet to refill it. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely love this salt grinder. Good size and love it is manual. Often times they are to big for my personal preference. Like the feel and looks nice displayed on the counter. Recommend.
