I recently picked up this comprehensive pliers set, and I have to say, it's impressive. It comes with two groove joint pliers in 8-inch and 10-inch sizes, two long needle nose pliers in 8-inch and 6-inch sizes, an 8-inch linesman plier, a 6-inch slip joint plier, and a 6-inch diagonal plier. That's a lot of versatility in one set!These pliers are built to last, made from high-quality Cr-Ni steel and other strong materials. They’ve been heat-treated for extra durability, and the chrome-plated finish helps prevent rust. I really appreciate how sturdy they feel.The handles are wrapped in soft TPR material, making them comfortable to hold. This is a surprisingly rugged set of pliers. My expectation of quality was well below what I actually received. The steel, the rubber, the machining, the functionality... all top notch.The weight of each piece is greater than you'd imagine. It is pretty clear that these weren't made out of cheap light pot metal. That same steel seems to allow functionally sharp edges and ribs. I haven't put them through any torture tests, but they do feel like they could take more abuse than other name brand pliers I have or have had.These not only feel solid, but the are also very comfortable to use. The rubber and plastic are firm, but grippy, yet they don't feel tacky.I am not a huge fan of the appearance of the handles. I don't think they really look all that good. They aren't horrible, but they aren't attractive either. I do think they are a great value. The appearance of the handles is not bad enough to take away from the awesome appearance of the steel components. Great job on some great tools.
