I had a large tree that fell on my deck and ripped off part of the railing. The pickets were attached with lag screws which were ripped out. I used these bits to ream out the holes to a larger diameter so I could drive in wood dowels. Once the glue had dried I drilled pilot holes and installed new pickets were the old ones had existed.

I bought these for the price, since I only needed to drill one set of holes in one size and this set was the price of that one bit with a name brand logo on it. I could do without the super sticky substance China uses in place of cosmoline. Rust spots would have been easier to clean off, lol. Decent bit set for the hobbyist. They're sharp and they cut clean. The 3/4 did 158 beautiful and clean holes in 1/2 inch plate for my welding layout table. That one bit alone paid for the entire set several times over.

I'm wondering if I wasn't sold a used set they didn't look used but I thought drill bits were supposed to be Sharp when you purchase them these are very cheap I should have got a refund beware.
