Received this grinder and the Shardor grinder with electronic timer and readout at the same time to compare. Both are nice grinders and appear to have very similar or identical grinding mechanisms -including the way in which the top burr is removed for cleaning. Both have a max 40 second time setting which I tested on the Twomeow and found it to be very accurate: 20 second setting runs for 20 seconds exactly. Both have a stainless steel housing and their footprints are also almost the same (within 1/2" or 12mm). I decided to keep this grinder because of the following factors: It runs a little quieter (although both are very quiet), has a bigger hopper and a bigger receptacle for the grounds. The main grind settings appear to be a good match to my French Press as well as the drip coffee maker with either a paper filter or a reusable mesh filter. The anti-static function works amazingly well: a little tapping when you pour the grounds, and the container is totally empty and clean. I just hope that whatever is used to eliminate the static is not some chemical that turns out to be toxic (there are different methods to eliminate or reduce static buildup, and I have not found the specific technology for this grinder.) I replaced a twice as expensive Bodum grinder that broke after less than two years of use, and this grinder appears to be of better quality all around. I can't speak to the longevity of this machine, but I would expect it do perform well in the longer term.

Excellent product so far. It does a great job of fine grinding from espresso to drip. Noise level is reasonable compared to others and grinding speed is fast. Very clean, no trace of grounds outside the catch container! After not having good luck with some of the name brands, I chose to follow some of the reviews and ordered this one. Glad I did. We will see how it holds up over time, but it does come with 2-year warranty.

I bought this grinder to replace my Oxo. I am more than pleased with its performance. With 48 grind settings it's easy to get the exact grind you want especially for espresso. The grind is always consistent and that was not the case with the Oxo. Under the lid for the hopper is a clip in brush to easily clean the burrs every time I refill. I would highly recommend this product. With so much junk that is sold today it's nice to receive an item of quality.

After comparing several conical grinders on Amazon, this Twomeow grinder seemed to have the best reviews and best feature set. I've used it just a few times and it works well. I hope it will continue to do so for some time. There was a card in the box that spelled out the warranty on the grinder. It also directed the user to go to the company's website to register the product within 3 days, to get a 2-year warranty. I tried to do this, and the website apparently does not exist. I entered the exact web address they listed, andit does not come up. Also, trying twomeow.com does not bring up any website either. So, if anything goes wrong with the grinder, there will be no way to get support from the company, so take that into consideration when making the purchase. It is heavy and looks very well made, so hopefully it will last.

This is a conical grinder, and I replaced a straight burr grinder with this one. This one is so much better and far quieter than the other one. I was so impressed that I could do other things in the kitchen while it ground because it stops at 40 seconds. Also I love the no static feature in the cup. It is also much, much cleaner in our coffee area now. I noticed that it is quieter than the grinder at the store. If I need to grind in the morning it doesn't wake my partner (or neighbors). I highly recommend this grinder, but keep in mind I've only had it for about two weeks, so I really hope it goes for a long time.

After using it for 1+ months (4 times), it is working as I expect. Before I grinded the beans in Costco, but that is the whole 2+ lb bag, it is not going to stay flesh at home. Now I can grind just for the week (too lazy to do it every day), much better taste. The grinder seems good quality, doesn't seem flimsy. The catching container is good, no coffee flying all over and static coffee leftover in there. I do Moka and choose the marker between espresso and drip coffee, so far so good.

Good coffee bean grinder. I received it this AM, took it out, set it up and used it to grind today's coffee makings. It is fast, vigorous and quieter than I expected. This was only my first use, so I do not know how it may hold up over time. I will update this review if necessary, but if not - it's working fine. Yes I would recommend this.

I replaced a straight burr grinder. This one is much quieter. And for me the biggest benefit is that there has been no noticeable static coffee grounds spread all over. The ground coffee is ground consistently. The range of grind is from power to rough. The controls are simple. It looks good and is quite a space saver as it is deeper than it is wide.
