I finally broke down & bought an electric grinder because my shoulder is so bad off I can barely grind my morning brew. I was worried the beans would taste burnt as has been my experience in the past. This grinder does the beans slower & more delicately, preserving the flavor. It holds & grinds enough for my French press pot & doesn't seem to bother my cat at all with its low volume grind. Does a great job & tucks away nicely where I had my manual grinder.

I was attracted to the design of this grinder. It is solidly built, nice and compact, easy to store and easy to clean. I also liked the fact that the hopper was small, allowing for one to two cups of on demand, freshly ground coffee. The flat burr design is also a plus as is the precise control of the grind size. Some folks talk about the noise, I find it on par with a blade type grinder and quieter than expected. Over all I am very pleased, highly recommended!

This little guy is hungry and he wants your beans! Seriously though, great grind for the dollars. Compact and fast. I will reduce to 4 stars based on the noise and low tech grind capabilities. The grinding features are simple to use and effective for the desired grit. All in all its works very well and presents itself as tough for the long haul of day to day use.

Im pretty new into the world of actually coffee, but I've used this grinder for almost a month now. It seems to do the just very well with the grinding size very consistent and highly adjustable. It is rather noisy but that's too be expected at this price point and it would be nice to have a larger hopper for beans. All around great purchase!

I rarely write bad reviews, because most products I buy meet my expectations. This one? Not so much. It is zero for two. Ordered one, returned it, Received the second, it doesn't work either. Neither one actually worked. The motor jammed on normal coffee beans, and burned out. Returned the first which never worked, and the second ground enough coffee for exactly one cup then stalled and never ran again. As an engineer I can see this is poorly designed and poorly assembled, and obviously not actually tested before shipping. Buy something from a brand you have actually heard of, and avoid this cheap piece of junk.

Okay, I'll admit it, 'Wancle' sounds like something you'd find in the bargain bin at a dollar store. But surprisingly, this little grinder packs a punch! It's surprisingly powerful for its size and grinds beans quickly and evenly. I was initially skeptical, given the name, but I'm pleasantly surprised. The build quality is decent, and it's easy to clean. I still chuckle every time I use it, imagining a tiny man named Wancle meticulously crafting each grinder. But hey, if it makes good coffee, I can overlook the slightly awkward name. Plus, it's a great conversation starter. 'Oh, this? Just my trusty Wancle grinder. You know, the ones made by that company with the hilarious name?

This grinder is small and efficient. I would recommend as it has an adjustable grind for coffee beans and makes a delicious cup of coffee.

Does what it should. Photo shows course setting at max, and still have fine espresso like powder buildup on the hopper. The grind is consistent otherwise, but if you're looking for perfection, you will find on a very course setting you'll end up with some find powder residue one way or the other. Not as consistent as a handheld in my opinion

In my case this was shipped from Amazon Germany. So expect it to be Europe voltage and plug. Australia uses same voltage but needed an adapter for the plug.I needed something compact and this seemed to be the only compact grinder that ran on mains power. I did not want a rechargeable, non replaceable li-ion battery. It grinds coffee well for both a mocha-pot and plunger. However the hopper is small and will empty past the 4 setting so you’ll have to feed it coffee beans as it drains for higher settings. Not a problem for me as I don’t grind that much but keep this in mind. A trade off that keeps it small, I guess.

I like this grinder. Good range of adjustment, makes for an excellent coffee taste. Doesn’t take up much room on the worktop.

I'm on the fence about 5 stars, but although I have a few minor quibbles, I don't feel they're worth downgrading it for.First of all, it does *not* grind finely enough for espresso. It was okay at the other end - very coarse - for cold brew.Where it shines for me is at medium fine, for my Aeropress. It's a very consistent grind.I also appreciate how fast it is!When I made cold brew, I had to refill the hopper twice, but it's a great size for one (strong) cup at a time, and could easily take enough beans for 3 or 4 cups in one grind - maybe even a small pot of dip or pour-over, depending on how strong you like it.One last con; again, not bad enough to take off a star, but it is incredibly noisy, especially when the hopper is almost empty. Because it's fast though, the noise doesn't last long! One last pro; TINY! I mostly consider that a good thing. It doesn't take up much more room on my counter than a hand grinder.
