I didnt want to spend name brand money so I tried this. It fits and works as expected. If something happens I will update my review. The slightest of concern is that this product is lighter than the original. This could be a plus for some folks.

Replaced the one that came with the Green Egg with this one after breaking it in half after a short drop from a leaning position. It is well built. This one is an exact fit but it's about an inch and a half shorter in height meaning the grate will be closer to the plate and the heat.If you have a large BGE as I do, this will do the job. Be careful to place the unit just right to fit on the ledge once that is done you're good to go. Easy to clean off, holds heat well.

While the product itself appears to be fine quality, it does NOT fit adequately in the Large Big Green Egg, as described. First, the 3 legs of the plate barely fit in the 3 cut outs provided by the top inside ceramic insert which leaves it prone to moving once inserted. Secondly, the height of the legs is roughly inches on this product. The official Big Green Egg ceramic plate legs are closer to 4 inches. This 2 inch difference makes a big difference if you place a drip pan between plate and the grate.

Works fine, but not as sturdy as the branded BGE version. Feels like it’s going to crumble someday after a hot cook. You get what you pay for I guess.

Seller shipped immediately! It was packed well and arrived the next day. We had broken ours and this was the best price we found. Have to have it for indirect cooking on the BGE! I highly recommend!
