Brazing is such a useful technique. This is easy to use for copper and alloys with a lot of copper in them. You may want to keep some flux on hand still. The price is comparable to others.

It works, it is brazing rod. My hope was that it would be more of a copper color so when I solder copper jewelry there is not a silver seam on my rings and necklaces.Hey, I got what I expected and it does work, so there it is.

This copper wire has so many uses! I originally got it to do some minor repairs to jewelry, but have since used it to join pipes and am experimenting with creating small wire sculptures out of it. This is a great deal for the price!

Not a bad product, You do need a good torch and the flux can be a bit spotty, but once you get used to it it works fine.

I was hoping to use this for copper wire jewelry. Some of the ends can catch even when wrapped and finished tightly, so I just wanted a small amount of solder at the ends. This solder does not melt well, even with a butane torch, and when it does, it creates a blob intead of continuous melt. Trying another brand and will likely return this one.

Good product that can be used on projects that are finer and need a delicate touch. Like any other copper solder, prepping your joint is key to success, but this will do the job with even lower temp gas like butane.Mapp gas or pinpoint oxyacetylene would be your best bet, but as usual, don't overheat your joint--just get it to flow and you will be happy with the results.Recommended.

I have a pretty high powered soldering gun and this stuff does not melt
