I initially thought $95 was steep for a tank bag, however I feel this versatile bag is well worth the extra cash. It's strong magnets are protected and have never left a mark on my tank and I just plop it on and off without much concern. The adjustable safety strap and non-scratch plastic clip keeps me from any concern of it leaving the tank while I'm under way. I use it to commute to my office as often as I can. As it easily expends to twice it's size, my work shoes, small lunch, a 16 ounce water bottle, my house keys, bike registration, bike manual and iPhone Plus all fit in nicely. The clear plastic compartment on the very top allows you to write out a few simple directions to your destination and is really useful to have.Once unclipped from the safety strap, I grab the handle and it's off the bike just like that, with the attaching magnets grabbing themselves right out of the way. While there is a lot of 'magnet power' here, I keep my iPhone in the top layers and have never had a problem with it. Amazingly, even with all that stuff in it, when I'm riding with it on my Honda CBR 250R, I don't even know it's there. Really nicely made, I highly recommend this bag. You will love it.

I bought this bag to replace a 12L bag I had for a long time. I commute to work and need space enough for small items mostly like sunglasses, phone, wallet, gloves, work badge, lock... When I need to carry more like a lunch or bulkier items, I typically have enough space when I expand the bag to its maximum capacity. It is a low profile bag with very strong magnets and soft material that does not affect the tank finish. A feature I really like is the red lined interior. This makes it easy to find small items as opposed to a black interior. The inner side mesh pockets are great places to stash small items that get lost in bags, like thumb drives, pens, utility tool etc. Very well designed bag. If you carry a lot of stuff, consider getting the next size up.My only minor issue is unzipping the bag - it will sometimes get hung up briefly where the seam bends at the contour. It may just be my bag. I just have to help it along in that spot sometimes. Not a deal breaker.

The bag has a low profile, but works great for my daily commute. I usually only carry a coffee travel mug and my work id. Plenty of room for that. In the evenings, it gives me a place to put the mail. The bag expands from this normally compact size to be large enough to carry my SLR, so will also work for trips too.Pluses: The quality seems great all around. No complaints there.Cons: The magnets don't seem particularly strong...but they work and there's a tether strap for added safety. Also, while the zipper seems top quality, it would be nicer if it was a double zipper with two zipper pulls. But I'll take this higher quality zipper over the one on the previous bag that came apart causing the entire bag to be replaced.

I don't carry much when riding around town, but I love the ability to expand the bottom of the this bag when extra space is needed on longer trips. The red fabric interior provides decent contrast to help you locate items, and the mesh pockets along the wall of the interior are super useful. Velcro loop for tire pressure gauge is also a plus. The rain jacket is just ok, but I like that it stores away in its own pocket along the front. The map flap doesn't have much value for me. Fortunately it is removable, but it leaves two big furry velcro strips on the top of the bag which don't look great.I wish the pockets on the inside of the lid held their shape better, and had better top closures. When the lid is fully zipped up, those flimsy pockets are almost upside down and smaller items fall out.The bag is well made where it counts though. The zippers are large and work smoothly. The bottom is soft but looks durable. The magnets are plenty strong. The handle is thick rubber. Unfortunately, the carabiners on the safety leash and the interior house key leash are plastic. They look cheap and I don't expect they will hold up for very long.Design-wise, the bag looks very dated and I don't like the big rubber cortech logo glued to each side. However, the ability to expand and contract the size of the bag is fantastic. Overall, this is a solid tank bag and a good value for the money.

Works exactly for what I wanted, secures very tightly to the 2018 Ninja 650 gas tank. no wiggle or sliding at all, magnets are very secure on the bike even when loaded. I have zero concern of it coming off. interior without the expansion can fit like 3 bang energy drinks and still have space front or back side, and even top of the case.great for a road trips (again without expansion) to toss in a portable tire pump (oasser) tire gauge, drink, sun glasses chap stick, lighter, smokes, usb power bank, cell phone, etc etc. long enough to fit a bottle of Fiji water 700 ml length wise.con: For the 17 plus ninja 650, without expansion bag does get in the way on tuck positioned the farthest up you can go for the front magnets to catch, so if it was expanded it will definetly get into your chest. I'm not planning to use it fully expanded and if I did it wouldn't be for long so definitely not a deal breaker.Bag also does have a carry handle so when you take it off the bike, its easy to carry, or strap to a latch on a back pack. Definitely would be handy for a to work bag, you could even toss an extra shirt in folded up tightly.
