Place Dieffenbachia in a spot that receives bright light (5 or more hours of sunlight). Water your plant about once a week with approximately 1 cup and be sure all excess water drains away. Adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let Dieffenbachia sit in water or overly soggy soil.The height at dispatch is approximately 17-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The Dieffenbachia arrives in a 6-inch décor pot. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. The Dieffenbachia is a fast grower. Exact growth rate depends on the care provided and its environment. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for potted plants. Follow the instructions on the fertilizer package for the best use. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the Dieffenbachia, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. Fill in any empty spaces with new and fresh soil and water thoroughly. I am so happy! Plant is nice and healthy and the pot is exactly what I picked...pretty. It arrived quickly and was packaged extremely well. Even had a heated pad atteached.attached. It's now in my office making my day brighter.

This is the 4th plant I ordered from Costa Farms in the dead of winter that arrived in perfect condition. The plants were sent from Florida to New Jersey with heat packs in the boxes that helped keep them in tip top condition during transit in the cold weather. I love my Dieffenbachia. It’s a really beautiful, very large, full, green and lush looking. I’ve had it for a week now and it’s doing great on my bedroom dresser about 8 feet away from an east facing window. I will definitely be buying more plants from Costa Farms as I am thrilled with every purchase I made from them.

I purchased the Dieffenbachia last year. I have been taking care of house plants for many years. When I received it the plant looked fine within days it started dying. I was able to care for it enough that it did come back. My son purchased a Birkin Philodendron for my birthday this month it arrive in a shattered pot and dying leaves. He got a replacement for me but it come in an in tacked pot but the plant was frozen and dead. I order plants all the time and Costa Farms do not package their plants to withstand cold temps. The little heat pad that they put around the leaves does not work. Other companies I order from take great care in making sure that the plants are insulated since they are going to a cold climate. I will not purchase from Costa Farms again. I told my son to never send me Costa Farm plants.

Delivered this evening 9-27-2024. Box looked like it had been stepped on or a heavy object hit it. See pics. 3 sides were in terrible shape & smashed into. Surprisingly the plant looks ok now, but at age74 I know plants take lack of water & massive tossing around, like in a box, not very well & root damage can take a Week to 10 days to start showing up as the plant slowly dies. I’m going to baby with a small drink of water, semi direct sunlight & a few prayers. Will update in about 10 days.

The delivery box was a mess, dirty and had a hole. I never expected the plant to look so good! Interior packaging is sturdy, plant lost some dirt and I noticed roots were tight. Reported it to a bigger home. Great purchase!
