This works very well. You can have it set against the frame of your Subaru while you take a breaker bar or impact wrench to loosen the crank pulley bolt. Durable. Good luck on whatever job you have that requires using this specialty tool.

Work with no issues. My Crank pully was on tight had to extend to tool with a pipe against my engine stand with a breaker bar extended and had no issues. Tool was able to handle it. Worth the $29.00.

After looking at a few of the cheaper versions of this style crank pulley tool, one thing that stood out was that they all shipped soft low grade bolts. When I looked at customer reviews I saw picture after picture of bent bolts and frustrated people. This one caught my eye because it had black bolts and typically they are higher grade hardened bolts. The grade of the bolts was not listed though. I asked that question on the page and got the reply of them being grade 5 bolts. That answer was incorrect. This came with grade 8.8 bolts for both the large and small bolts.Tool is made with 5/8†material. The reinforcement ring is made with 7/16†material. Both plenty thick enough to get the job done. All in all this is a pretty solid tool. 5 stars.

Very cheap quality janky Chinese tool but it does the job and you really don't need much else. I guess if you're a professional mechanic you'd probably want to buy something more durable to use every day, but for the average home repairs this will probably last you a lifetime of crank pulley removals.
