I snagged this box of Crayola pencils for my daughter's Easter basket, and I didn't read the description very well. It's a large box with 240 pencils, but it only offers 12 colors, so there are 10 of each pencil. That disappointed me, as I thought I would be getting a huge array of colors for her. Oh well - they are Crayola, and I love this brand. Their products are reliable and work well. We bundled up 10 sets of pencils with each color and will have them at the ready when the school year starts or when the current set in use gets too short to sharpen.We haven't explored the "watercolor" aspect of the pencils yet, and I intend on looking at videos to give us ideas of how to use them. My daughter loves art, and these are a nice addition to her art tool set!

I don't think we've ever been disappointed with Crayola products and this box of colored pencils is no exception. I homeschool and have 3 children who love making art, so we run through supplies quickly. The kids have really enjoyed experimenting with the watercolor aspect of these pencils. They're very vibrant and go a long ways. This would be an excellent option for a classroom.

Crayola is a solid, reliable brand. I don't normally use water color pencils so I don't know how these compare to others, but they seemed to work well and also could be used as a regular color pencil if desired without water.This set comes with the basic, most frequently used colors and 20 of each is a solid amount. While this set is still costly at over $70, it is still a great value when you compare it to how much 12 peice sets cost individually!The pencils worked great and this would be great for classrooms, daycares or organizations/clubs that do activities with kids - or even adults.

This is great if you are a teacher it has a really good range of colors and are decent quality watercolors. The have vibrant colors and are easy to see and use. The bulk quantity would be percect for kiddos. I got it for my daighter who constantly loses colored pencils.

That's a LOT of pencils! They're all there in all their glory, and they look right at home in the craft room. I'm sure I'll eventually bundle sets with each color and give them to the grandchildren when they visit next. There's plenty to go around. They are NOT boxed up into individual sets; rather they're sectioned off in one big box (hence bundling for grandkids). I used a couple just to see if they held up to their hype and I was really happy with the results.
