Your cart is empty.The Creative Grids 45mm rotary cutter is designed with you in mind. The sleek red metal body adds weight to the cutter so less pressure is required when cutting fabric. The cushioned, comfort grip is designed to fit your hand, reducing slips and muscle fatigue. When the button is in the center, the guard fully protects the blade when not in use. Move the button a quarter circle to the left or right to expose the blade for right and left handed users. The exposed blade is specifically designed to extend beyond the guard to work with the Creative Grids slotted rulers. To replace the blade, simply pull down on the tab to release it and add a new blade – a one step process. The Creative Grids 45mm rotary cutter comes in a protective zippered case that includes plenty of room to store additional blades and notions.

I was pleasantly surprised by this cutter. The weight is not so much that I can not use easily with my aggressive rheumatoid arthritis. The weight of the cutter does assist in the cutting. I was a bit skeptical of that claim. The Blade it comes with is good and sharp. Wish a had a box of those blades. It is worth the money.

I received this cutter quicker than expected. This is top of the line product. Very well made, easy to use, cuts sharper than a knife, doesn't take much pressure and the added feature is the case that it comes with.

Gift recipient loved it. Reported nice weight so less stress on wrist/shoulder when cutting. Easy blade replacement. Just click L/R for cutting to determine which side blade comes out of. Solid product. Highly recommended.

I have tried at least 5-6 different types of rotary cutters (I am left handed and have arthritis). This Rotary cutter is weighted, which did seem off-putting when I first picked it up. HOWEVER, it has helped me so much with cutting smoothly and completely without having to constantly bear down so hard my shoulder and hand get tired. Quilter's Select also has a similar weighted Rotary cutter and I have that one too. I like both. The Creative grids is a nice Red which is nice if you like color- and I do -now If they made it in TURQUOISE I would be over the moon! Hoping they will offer this in a 60mm size soon! I am donating all the other rotary cutters I have (Martelli, Olfa,Clover,Fiskers,etc) I DON'T use them at all anymore! WORTH THE PRICE! You will notice a difference in your cutting accuracy and overall ease of cutting quilting fabric!

You can't go wrong with Creative Grids rulers. They are heavy (though not too heavy) and feel very comfortable in my hand. You won't be disappointed.

A little pricey but I think worth it. This is weighted so it is much heavier than a regular rotator cutter. I have bad arthritis in my hands and have had no problems with using this.

This is an amazing piece of equipment for quilting. It is heavier than most cutters but you don’t need to use pressure. I have arthritic hands and find this ideal when cutting out lots of patterns in one go.Recommend
