I really like the cutter and extra blades. I was greatly disappointed with the cutting mat. It is only about 6x8". Quite unusable. It's still a great price and came together in a nice pouch.

I've completed a 6'x5', 30 complex squares custom image center piece for a quilt with this cutter. 1 blade replacement thus far. The little mat isn't enough for a project. The pins are dull/garbage. But the cutter is good. Considering even the cheapest/sale at Joann's costs more for just the cutter with no extra blades or bits it's a good deal for just the cutter and spare blades. The bag works to contain bits for the section you're currently working on. And the little mat is very thick/quality, and fits right in front of the sewing machine for cutting bits as you're sewing. The little mat is useful.

I was buying brand name blades and they were going dull within a week which was really frustrating and felt wasteful. One day a sewing account on instagram linked this brand on her Amazon storefront so I thought I’d give it a try when it was time to buy more blades. I don’t know what these things are besides magic. I’ve been cutting with the same blade since I purchased a pack back in April (it’s beginning of August right now). I can’t speak for the whole pack but this blade I’m using is still going super strong. At the very least I recommend over the more expensive brand name options.

Normally I read others stories. Nose pressed to the screen in hope of seeing and feeling about what they have bought. Unfortunately, this is not a tale of happiness as this blade purchase has a dull yet painful ending. After purchasing these and other precious sewing items so that I can receive them next day, I blindly went into this adventure with the hope of wonder. The dreams of sewing tools, projects yet made, and the fun of being in my craft room kid free dancing in head. Then, the packaged arrived before the sun even came up! Oh joy! After carefully unpacking and following directions (even though I’ve done this before) I replaced my blade. I take my perfect ironed fabric laying it out like the holy garb it is. I go to make the first cut…then horror! The blade refuses to slice that fabric. Just simple cotton fabric! I think okay okay okay you can do this. It is a fluke. A mistake. I use again on quilting square I am making only to have it be worse. As not only am I feeling the pain of this botched beheading of fabric in what can only be explained as the dark crafting times, but my poor self healing cutting mat is begging for a quick death or at the very least a better rotary blade. So after all this I realize you can’t even contact the seller. I could return it but at this point I am not wasting more money to package it up, go to place wasting gas, and my time for the $8. My only hope is this tale to the wise people….please do not by unless looking for cheap, will have to cut with scissors still, and will ruin cutting mats product.
