I have the 6" and 10" versions and they are both high quality. The machining is very good with about 1/32" of backlash in the threads and the jaws are good at staying parallel with very little slop. When fully closed, you can only see a tiny sliver of light between the jaws. The handle is slightly textured which provides a good grip. On the 10", one side is laser etched with a metric units, and the other is etched with Dale Earnhardt Freedom Eagle units down to 1/16". The etching is a bit hard to see, but seems a bit frivolous as I don't imagine anybody would use it anyway. Maximum jaw opening on the 10" version is a little over 1 5/16" or 34mm according to the scales etched on the tool. The weight and balance is nice. The overall quality and machining is a huge step above most other adjustable wrenches you would commonly find in people's tool boxes.

Seems well built ,like Rigid tools used to be... This one is pretty good, tight jaws=less slipping.If one takes care of one's tools a black oxidized finish is no problem ;-)

Super TOUGH LiL guy I bought the 4 inch for my job because I sometimes have to loosen or tighten bolts works perfect no issue no play on the mechanism like a lot of these have (aka the husky ones)Also used to replace a car battery of course with a socket wrench help but the little guy sis most of the work highly recommend haven’t tried the other sizes only 4 inch ……

smooth adjustment wheel.. This is a perfect size for working on a firearm. The adjustment stays where you place it. I like the black colar as it is now easy to find in my tool pouch..

Smaller than I realized but I love it. Goes up to 9/16" and fits on a Niteize s-biner. Use it daily.

I am a big fan of Crescent tools, especially their adjustable wrenches because the tend to be strong and adjust smoothly without slipping, but 4" is just too small for most jobs I encounter.I am sure that tiny adjustable wrenches have their uses, but we saw little need for them.I am not deducting any stars because it is not their fault I found no use for a tiny wrench.Just know what to expect before ordering.
