I am always in need of another good yarn bag for my various knit and crochet projects. I have quite a few bags that are great for my smaller projects (socks, hats, cowls, etc.), and I've started using reusable grocery bags or larger totes for many of my blanket projects. What I need are bags for things like sweaters. For me, this bag is totally fitting that bill. I'm working on a sweater right now that uses two colors of Caron Macchiato Cakes, and those are pretty good sized balls of yarn. Each is 8 ounces, but it is pretty fluffy yarn, so it definitely takes up a fair amount of space. The pattern uses three cakes of yarn in total, and I was able to get all three, plus my project, into this bag pretty easily.I could have the yarn coming out through the grommets built into the bag (there are ten of them, four on top, and three on each short side) but I had started the project already when this bag arrived. I don't necessarily tend to love doing that anyway. But if I was doing a project with lots of colors, there are certainly plenty of grommets to thread that yarn through.Inside the cover of the bag is a long zippered pouch that you can see through. This is a great place to stash scissors, a tape measure, the printed pattern, etc. On the back of the bag, there are loops above another clear-ish pouch where you can stash things like hooks and needles. The bag is well put together, with solid stitching. The zipper opens and closes smoothly. There is a handle sewn onto the top of the bag that is well reinforced, and a good size for actual use. There is also a strap you can attach to the bag so you can carry it on your shoulder. The clips on the ends of the strap are a little fussy to work, but once you get them in place, you certainly aren't going to have them accidentally coming loose. All in all, this is a good bag for knit or crochet, and I expect it to last a long time.

Seems to be a quality crochet/knit bag for beginners and probably advanced crocheters/knitters as well. It seems a bit flimsy so might not last years, but definitely a great starter bag. Mine currently holds one work in progress (beanie), one future project (scarf), and some yarn for learning/ practicing new stitches. I don't use the holders on the back door any tools because my cat is a thief, but I keep my hook set in the pocket on the back and extra hooks, stitch markers, scissors, and tape measure in the pocket inside. This bag is light weight, easy to take on the go, and very practical.

I got this bag so I can crochet dish scrubbies on the go and I love it!It holds all the colors of scrubbie yarn so I can whip them up on the spot for people.I'm very pleased with the quality of the bag, and it has room for my hooks, too.I love it!

This is a review of Yarn Storage Bag, Knitting Tote Organizer Up to 14" Knitting Needles (Sewn to Back) for Crochet Hooks, Circular Needles, Projects and Skeins, Grey-Only Bag. From the KIPHCA Store This is a useful bag that I now use all the time. I like the internal pocket and the grommet holes to thread yarn through to the outside, though I do have fears I’ll feed yarn through, start some project, and then suddenly need to take the project along but not the bag. I guess if this is my biggest worry I do live a charmed life. Anyway, hiding the working skeins from my cat is particularly wonderful. The outer pocket, which doesn’t have a closure, isn’t as useful to me since something could fall out (even with the elastic loops). While I am working I sometimes put a tool in that back pocket, but never while traveling or transporting the bag. The bag is well made, with a zippers that glide well. The main zipper has 2 convenient zipper pulls, which means I could lock the pulls together to protect my yarn from my cat🤣. The handle on top is very handy, as is the shoulder strap. While I like that the bag can fold down to be stored away, I do wish that g the bag it had a way to keep the sides stiffer if the bag isn’t packed full. When empty or with minimal contents, the sides are a bit floppy. Also I would like it better if there were more internal pockets and at least one internal divider to keep some of the skeins separate. Even so, the bag is very useful.

The construction of this project bag is pretty stout. The bag itself is nothing elaborate but is just what I needed: a roomy project tote that zips completely closed (I have nosey cats) that doesn't have a bunch of useless pockets on the interior or odd seam corners for yarn to snag on. I'm glad the crossbody strap is removable! I prefer to haul my project totes around using the smaller top handle and not have the longer strap in the way. There is one translucent zipper pocket along the interior of the top of the bag, which is useful for a small pair of scissors and a few notions, otherwise the bag is about as simple as you could ask for. It does have quite a few grommets, but they aren't really functional - I imagine the people designing these project totes aren't necessarily knitters and crocheters themselves otherwise they would realize those are of little use. But they are easy enough to ignore and the bag is well made so I expect to use it as one of my regular project bags ongoing.
