Recipient seems to like this gift— I do not crochet or knit so I can’t speak to its function. She seemed to have wanted one. I can say it is cute for a dark wood piece with smooth finish. Lid fits well without being tight. Slightly smaller than I thought, but a very nice piece for $$!
