This was. Christmas gift for my sister who is learning how to crochet. She absolutely loves the functionality, design, and how well it blends in with her decor. It looks to be structurally sound, with enough room for the yarn she's using but small enough to not overtake the room

I have a smaller bowl, so small in fact that I used it as a candy dish.This however, is large and holds a work in progress, a lapghan.The finish on the bowl is beautiful, no rough spots anywhere. The spiral yarn feed is smooth, no snags.The bowl can move when yarn is pulled, but a yarn coaster helped to secure it.It's a good buy, feature-wise. Plus, fast shipping.

Nice bowl, I keep my ex-wife's ashes in it. I later discovered visitors were using it as an ashtray. Even now she keeps gaining weight.

I received this as a gift. I like how it looks but it doesn’t work with all the yarns I have tried in it. It’s quite small and light weight, so when I pull more yarn, the whole bowl often comes along. The yarn often slips out of the little curl that’s supposed to hold it. The edges are a little rough and might fray some delicate yarns.

Fits a good size ball of yarn, and has enough weight to it to stay in place with good tension. I did have to wipe the spiral cut with paper towel for a bit at first to get the residue from the laser cut out. I didn’t want to get it on my yarn. And I sanded the cut a tiny bit too, just to make sure it was very smooth all the way around. I didn’t have to do much of that, it was just minor fine tuning.Great value for the price. It’s pretty and works well.

I am very pleased wwith this bowl, not only is it very attractive and well made but it does the job that is was made for with no problems. It was well finished and smooth and I have used it for several hours of working time and had no problems with yarn catching or pulling . I would love another one only a little larger and deeper for the "cake" shaped yarns.
