These mounts are specifically manufactured, and advertized to fit the Crosman 13XX series variable power pellet pistols (1300, 1322 & 1377) AND some other specific Crosman pistols and rifles (2240, 2260...). If you don't have one of these, then don't buy them and give them a bad review (or do your THOROUGH research first- but don't complain if they don't work for YOUR application). These are of good design to fit the aforementioned guns and are manufactured with close tolerances making a secure attachment 100% possible. There is no way these will "normally" become loose, or not fit on the barrel- even without shims or tape- unless you bang your attached sight (red-dot, scope, etc.) around or have stripped the screws. What some of you might experience is the slight movement of the barrel in the receiver which imitates a loose mount. And in RARE conditions you did find the need to shim in order to tighten the mount's grip, I'd place some plastic or metal at the TOP of the 3/8 (dovetail) "rail" in order to keep that area of the Intermount 459MT from closing in while you tighten the screws. This may, however, widen the "rail" some making your attachment of the sight a little more difficult. Make sure the barrel and mounts are oil and grease free before attaching! Also, if you over-tighten your scope, red-dot, etc. on the mount, you will, of course, loosen the grip of the mount on the barrel (DUH). If this occurs, remove the sight, carefully re-tighten the mount then re-attach your sight firmly but not too tightly.Although I don't have all the pistols this mount will fit, I do have both the Crosman 1300 Medalist II and the 1377 which the mounts fit perfectly and have a set each on both guns. Could they be designed better... possibly. Are they Mil-Spec... no. Could they be made of higher grade metal... of course... but then they would probably cost more than the gun they were designed for.So... I hope this clears it up for both those who claim they won't fit and those of you whom are indecisive on whether to purchase or not. Amazon has a good return policy and will provide a return shipping label if you do have (legitimate) issues... provided you aren't yelling at them when you contact customer support!Food for thought about any complicated process (like this): If you're an adult having a problem attaching these mounts, give it to a kid to handle... If you're a kid- give it to an adult to fix.

I recently purchased a Crosman 2240 co2 pellet pistol from Amazon. This is a woderful accurate pistol and the factory open sights are woefully inadaquet for the accuracy potential of this fine pistol so I decided to put on a CQB red dot green dot sight from leapers which I also purchased from Amazon and a adpter from 11mm rail to weaver Picatinny to fit the Leapers red dot green dot scope. Well mounting the crosman intermount on the 2240 was pretty straight foward. This done I left the screws only slightly snug so when I mounted the adapter they would self- align with the picatinny rail which they did I centered everything on the barrel then tightend (carefully) the 2pc mount screws dont over tighten them or the hex head screws will strip from the allen wrench. That done I mounted the sight. I noticed right away that there was some novement with the scope on further examination I saw that the barrel could be twisted back and forth a small amount. This is beacause the reciever dosent hold the barrel tight enough not the fault of the mount. I noticed that the front barrel band is aluminum and so I remouved it and drilled and tapped it for a 8-32 x 1/8" long set screw and placed it back and drilled a shallow dimple in the barrel under the set screw. Tightened it up and now its solid as a rock with no movement what so ever. after sighting it in At 50' from a solid rest it makes one ragged hole clover leaf patterns of about a half inch I can't tell you how happy I am with this set up. I think It would still be accurate if I diddn't secure the barrel from its slight movement beacause the scope moves with it so its still alighned with the barrel. But I like everything snug and secure I don't know why Crosman dosen't do this at the factory to this very fine pistol.

As several other reviewers have mentioned, the mounts and the added weight of the scope cause the barrel to move. This is not a great design. It is easily fixable, but I'm a firm believer that you shouldn't have to "fix" something that was specifically designed for this purpose. That's called bad design. It is probably because they designed these to work on multiple pellet guns, so they had to loosen tolerances. I understand that, but it seems like they should have built in "adjustments" to make the design work as intended.I installed these on a 1322 and mounted a rather heavy scope with integrated laser and LED reticle. Everything worked well, but there was clearly "slop" between the barrel and the rest of the pistol caused by the scope/mounts. I read several reviews somewhere, as well as here on Amazon, about putting tape or other "spacers" under the mounts to "stop the slop". This works. Again, bad design/implementation by Crosman, but at least there is an easy solution. For my particular situation, I first used small pieces of rubber eraser. That didn't work. They rubber flexed to much and slid out of place. Then, when I made the rubber shims thicker, the mounts chopped them in half. Rubber eraser was a fail.I then cut off small slices (3/16"x1/2") of a point-and-shoot camera strap. It was the typical nylon webbing strap most old 35 mm camera's had to dangle the camera around your neck. There were several other webbing straps on all kinds of devices that I thought about using, but since I never use my old camera (Canon 35mm waterproof) any more, it's strap got cannibalized. That said, after I cut off 4 shims from each side of the strap, I just melted off the end of the strap with a lighter and can't really notice that it was shortened. There was plenty of extra, unused strap length. Cutting off less than an inch of it didn't really make a different.I took the "shims", but places them under the feet of each mount. Tightened them down (carefully, since other users have made me paranoid about the screw threads stripping). The webbing shims worked perfectly. Closed the space under the mount. No more wobbly scope. It's been rock solid for months now. Stays zeroed on the scope and laser.

I purchased these dovetail mount rings for my crosman 2240, based on the 5 star reviews of other customers. Needless to say the advice given here is correct, I am delighted with my purchase and have no problems whatsoever.

Prodotto giunto diverso da quello in foto ma cmq simile e completamente compatibile con l' uso richiesto. Ho usato l' adattatore in ogni caso ma preferisco sempre quando il prodotto è quello in foto e non un equivalente cmq adattabile.

I recently bought the 1322c, and was looking for ways to mount a scope. Saw that I could either purchase a steel breech which had a dovetail mount, or these which were far less expensive. They must be made fairly inconsistently or people are somehow mounting them incorrectly, but mine fit on perfectly and don't budge. They were on within a matter of seconds - it wraps around the barrel and when you tighten it slightly touches the air chamber to remain centred. I saw a clever way in another review of fixing the mounts if for some reason they are loose. Just cut small pieces of electrical (black) tape to size, and run strips along the inside of the mount until it fits better on your gun. Hopefully it will just fit right away though with no need for adjustment. Don't overly tighten as you could risk stripping the threads, and chances are you'll need to take these off once and a while.Being this my first time actually mounting a scope on a .22, I had no idea what I needed. Some scopes will work fine just on these dovetail mounts alone (if they say that), but otherwise you will need an additional rail mount to mount ontop of these. The dovetail mount is much smaller than a weaver rail. I bought the UTG Low Profile .22/Airgun to Picatinny / Weaver Rail Adaptor to accompany this and it fits on quite well - even though the rail says it's for a 11mm dovetail and this is 3/8in dovetail - the difference is slight and it works well. From there you will easily be able to buy most types of scopes and lasers and fit them on. To properly sight your scopes, you'll need to mount your gun on something and shoot about like 20-25 feet downrange and adjust your scope accordingly without moving the gun on the mount. If you have trouble with this, consider getting a laser boresight to make things easier.Hope this helps anyone who was looking at how to mount a scope.

Printed out intermounts on the 3D printer, but they were a bit sloppy. These units are anodized aluminum, much stronger.Only use one for a laser sight, works well, stays aligned even after bumping it around.

Good quality product. I wish there was a slightly snugger or lower way to mount these. Takes a good amount of time to calibrate the sights if mounting a decent range scope. You have to compensate for the elevated position but it is do able and sturdy.
