This book is the only comprehensive guide to cross stitch I’ve seen. I purchased four books promising to show and explain the details of this art from Amazon today but found that this one does the best of addressing the small details and preparing me to develop an attractive product. It is also an excellent depiction of woodland flowers, reflecting their subtleties and tenderness. I have been consistently very happy with the books published by British owned “Search Press”, this book is no exception.

Book is nicely produced and the wildflower patterns are fine BUT, contrary to the title, there are no patterns for grasses. Complained to the publisher who acknowledged this and sent us a voucher in compensation.
