Adds friction between my shoes and the slippery dance floor - which helps me feel more secure and dance better. I sprinkle a bit of this on the floor and crush it/step on it with the *cleaned/scraped* soles of my shoes (if your soles are dirty with a ton of wax on them, this product may be less effective). It can get quite messy (and leave a white powder trail when walking on carpet) but that is to be expected with a product of this nature. The container is large so I moved a little bit to a small container that is easier to carry around. I thought the price was expensive but the size is big enough to last a very very long time.

As soon as I picked up the envelope, I knew that it had exploded inside their envelope… I mean, I’m gonna take it out and separate it and smash it up anyway, but their packaging was poor! Really need to seal up up that bottle much better and probably put it in a Ziploc bag as well otherwise you’ll get a cloud of rosin in your eyes when you open up your Amazon mailer! You have been warned! 😎 aside from that it was the best value I found, and the rosin is …well - it’s rosin!

This is the rosin we use for my dance studio and it works great. We even carry it to offside performance locations for that extra layer of support when dancing. I have used it for years and will continue to use it.
