A little more pricey than I would prefer but you get what you pay for. This gaff is light and strong with a perfect weight distribution, great hook profile and just flexible enough to absorb the shock of a stud wiggling on the end when you rip em over the rail. If I was a superhero this gaff would be my super weapon.

Got it cheaper on Amazon vs west marine, the quality is amazing and the weight is incredibly light, the reach is good and hook size is perfect

I really thought this was going to work for me. Great price but now I know why! Brand new out the box I went to gaff the very first fish and it snapped into two pieces. Lost the fish!
