Keep it wet with cold water to maximize the life of these pads and increase the cleaning effectiveness. If you don't keep them wet when using them, the heat will destroy them quicker. They clean decent but won't last as long as a metal bristle brush, but they are safer because the point of thee pad is to avoid metal bristles which can be inadvertently lodged in the food you are eating.

I have previously written a review of the brush. I think it is amazing. I followed the directions and it steams the grill clean. I am equally pleased that replacement heads can be ordered. I was not aware of that when I ordered the whole brush. You can wash the heads in the dishwasher but it is great that when they become so dirty you can replace them. Full brush and replacements heads are an great buy.

The replacement heads don't click/lock into the grill cleaning brush and, therefore, useless. Returning.

These are a perfect replacement and fit is spot on. Love these, but they don't last long . Maybe 10 time max and replacing. But way better than a steel wire brush especially if you have porsline coated cast iron greats. I clean reheat and coat greats with bacon grease to season and no stick.
