Step 1
Grasp the three thread ends from one end of the curtain head and pull out the three threads for about 15cm.

This was my first time applying it, and it is the best thing ever to make pleated curtains. I am so glad that I watched a video that gave me the option to use this pleating tape.

The curtain fabric I sewed hangs nicely on it, the pleats are soft and the width is just right.

The fabric itself wasn't a stretch knit, and what was running through the 'band', was not elastic either, it was like a thick thread or twine. What I want, is a very thin fabric, roughly the same width, with about 5 lines of elastic thread running through it. You sew it in where the waistline is, and then pull the elastic threads until the waistband is as you want it. It's great, because it gives you a very finished elastic waist band. .the stuff I bought? It will gather evenly but there will be no elastic stretch. If anyone knows what I'm looking for, please let me know what iyt's called and where I can get it!
