This is a great bike carrier for our heavy 26" fat tire Wired E-bikes. I was looking at another brand that was recommended at over $1500. This one does the same job at a fraction of the price. It is constructed very good, light enough for one person to carry around, and more than sturdy enough to carry our bikes. When they are strapped in there is very little movement even over rough roads. Assembly took less than an hour including unboxing. I read that people were having a problem with the plastic shims for the upright stabilizer bars. They are super easy to install. No need to bend any metal or beat things to pieces. They are supposed to slip in from the underside and there is a stamped notch that will guide them in. #1 Put the rack into your vehicle's reciver. #2 Place one shim in it's notch on one side of the upright. #3 hold the shim and upright in place by putting the bolt through the hole almost through but not far enough as to interfere with the shim on the opposite side. #4 insert the second into it's notch from the underside. Get it started by hand first and then gently tap it in with a small hammer unti the hole lines up. #5 Push the bolt all the way through the hole and tighten the nut. That's it! Super simple. We've taken our bikes on one trip using this and had no issues whatsoever. It's an awesome carrier.

This is the same rack that Youngs sells. Both companies are distributors for the mfg. But, I recommend buying from Cravot, not Young. Better price and customer service. Cravot included a lock for the hitch pin, Young wanted another $25. Seems like a strong rack and should handle 160lbs. It is a heavy beast, but that's what you need for 160lbs of e-bike.It will fold up, but it will not tilt back. I find that not to be a problem at all. Others have said that if you tilt a rack with bikes on it, it is a real pain.Instructions could be better, but if you're mechanical at all, you won't have any problems. Only issue was plastic spacers are too thick.

I have owned several bike racks in my lifetime so I know what to watch for. If you are going to invest $2,000 + on ebikes you want to be sure what you buy holds up and is manageable. Having a bike fall off while on a freeway is not a good thing. This rack is sturdy and easy to load and use. There are independent vertical supports, one for each bike. Other racks with only one are hard to configure for 2 bikes. Reading reviews I see complaints about assembly. The book you get with it is not very good but the video you can see while you are buying it is excellent. It's all you need. There are some plastic spacers involved in assembly that people have struggled with. It is very easy to place the rack upside down on the ground and slide them into place. People comment that it is heavy. It is heavy, 65 pounds. But it holds 200 pounds worth of expensive bikes. It needs to be heavy. Anyway - this is a great buy for the price.

I did quite a bit of research, trying to find an e-bike rack that was solid and didn’t break the bank. I settled on the Cravot CyberRack. I assembled it yesterday. It was easy to assemble and all the parts fit well. I was having a hard time installing the plastic spacers that fit on either side of the vertical support bars. I finally turned the rack upside down and was able to get them in. The rack is very solid and sturdy. There is no wobble. The ramp makes it very easy to load. I purchase a Velcro strap kit and will make/use additional straps just to be sure that the bikes stay put.

8/2024 Update.. Just used on 400 mile round trip with both bikes on rack. Could not be happier with this product. Yes it is heavy however, the reason is that it is made out of real steel, bent & welded. The ebikes are heavy and the ramp makes it easy for us, seniors, to load and unload. When bikes not on car, it folds up against the gate. I look at other racks which are lighter, see the wobble and appreciate this purchase. Do it!!!! No regrets here!Replaced a 3 year old Saris bike rack as that rack was same $$, but not as solid. We travel 3000+ miles a year with bikes loaded on our SUV and they are heavy E-Bikes. As seniors, loading was a challenge to point we stopped taking our bikes on short runs if we needed to transport the on the SUV, as just to much of a burdeon to load and unload. This is a heavy, well constructed rack, that took 1.5 hours to assemble with a ramp. We no longer have to wrestle our bikes onto the rack and once the mountings are adjusted is a snap to load/ unload as the optional ramp allows us to just push bikes up with NO lifting. Fully adjustable for any bike and with its weight rating, we are well under its limits, unlike our Saris where we were at its limits. Rack sits high so no worry on tail drag on driveway or other approaches. Expect it to provide us with long service. The only 2 improvements I would make are, to have a sinch lever / bolt to expand inside the SUV reciever from rack to stabilize & get all wobble out in addition to the existing bolt that holds rack to hitch. The second change, instead of paint, I would powder coat for extended outdoor durability. Just be aware it is a heavy rack however, it is very solid with quality steel and welds which is why the weight. Happy with purchase!

Product overall seems solid. One minor issue and one show stopper.Minor issue: two plastic spacers will not fit on an upright support. Fix: thinner fender washer on one side and supplied plastic space on other.Show stopper: the threaded receiver pin will be too short for larger (higher class) hitches. We have a Class 4 hitch on a F350 1 ton. As you can see in pics, their supplied pin is too short. You will be unable to use a standard receiver hitch pin due to the threaded tube insert they welded in.Do not bother calling customer support, they are basically an answering service and will just just you supports email support@cravot.com.Waiting on response from email. Unless they have a longer pin, I'll have to return the hitch.Will update after hearing from them.Please be careful, nice rack too.
