It’s a good reed but if you get it size down it was to big for me even though the rest of my reeds are the same size.

I have been a musician for about 15 years now and a clarinet player for about 8. The reeds I've used from Rico have been reliable and a good split between quality and cost. Thank you so much for sending these so quickly.

Several people have stated that these are saxophone reeds and not clarinet reeds. They are actually ALTO CLARINET reeds and will not work on a traditional B flat clarinet.

Alto clarinet reeds are hard to come across in music shops and when you do come across them they are always very expensive. These are very cheap for what they are but seem to play absolutely fine. Obviously because they are from Rico I felt I could trust them pretty well and they haven't disappointed. The delivery was quick - I think they arrived three days after I ordered them so that was good.If you're not sure I would give them a try as for only £8 or so for three they are a bargain.
