I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this paint brush! I haven't had much luck finding good brushes that don't eventually wear and lose shape. This brush has been used vigorously for a couple months now and still going strong. Even if it were to fall apart tonight I would still be happy with my purchase and would buy another.

This was a disappointment, the tip noticeably curled after the first use. I've had cheaper synthetic brushes survive much longer. Da Vinci is a good brand and their natural hair products hold up amazingly well, so I'm not sure what happened with this one. I'll trim and continue to use it, but for very fine detail work it will never work as well as it could have without this issue.

This is the first brush I ever bought so take my review w a grain of salt. It seems a bit too firm for what I wanted. Definitely appears that it will last a long time though. I think this is meant for little kids and an atmosphere prone to ruining brushes. In such a case, this would last well.
