I assumed the knurled semicircle was a thumbwheel. It is not. What I thought was a thumbwheel is just a static block. Fine adjustment is difficult. It's still usable for measuring existing objects, but impractical for layout work.Still looking for a left handed vernier or dial caliper with that feature. Next best option is dasqua's left handed digital model 2030-0005 if it ever gets back in stock.
