The boot is meant to protect the impact driver from grease and oil when you’re working on your car so it should be a snug fit and should cover the body of the driver while also having the correct openings in order for ventilation and for various switches and lights. This one does have almost all of the cutouts in the right locations but the one where the belt clip goes isn't as well cut when the clip is actually on and the one where you can see the battery level is also just a bit off but that might have to do with the fact that the boot itself is just a bit longer towards the back compared to the impact driver itself. I'm sure it will do a great job at protecting it from 99% of the grease and oil but I was expecting it to be an exact fit as they had claimed.

Fit my M12 stubby gen 2 perfectly. Better price and just as good as the Milwaukee brand. Excellent!

It's much cheaper than a Milwaukee. And it does the same thing. I am happy with this purchase.

So I was hesitant about ordering this as pretty much everywhere was out of stock of the Milwaukee branded protective boots for the new 3/8 stubby 2562 so I had my doubts that a knock-off brand would fit and be correct especially because of pictures but by golly it is right for the NEW Milwaukee stubby 3/8 impact!! Great fit, great quality and I’m happy!
