- Upholstery nails are small and sharp items. It's important to keep them away from small children.
- Always use safety glasses while working with them.
- Please don't use any chemical to clean nailheads, just use dry peace of cloth
- You will need proper tools like needle nose pliers and tack hammers to install them. Please don't use your fingers to hold them while hammering. They have dome head and without pliers it's very hard to adjust hitting angle and this may cause jumping (may be harmful) and usually bending.
- With proper tools they will never get bent even on very hard woods.

These upholstery tacks are great! They're strong, sturdy and hold up under pressure. I make little treasure box kits for kids to build, with leather straps for hinges. I use six tacks per strap. Other tacks I've used before, that I purchased from a major home store, would bend very easily - 3 out of 10. These tacks stay straight, bending 1 out 30. IF they bend at all. I highly recommend these tacks to anyone looking for upholstery tacks/nails.

I bought these to use on an old chair I found at a rummage sale. I wish they were a little longer in the shaft. I used a pair of needle nose pliers and a lightweight tack hammer. If you don't hit them square on the head they will bend, but for the price they are a good deal. They look nice on the chair, just took a little time with the pliers.

Received these and they are as described. However the picture is a bit misleading. Be advised these are much darker and the markings less apparent than the picture. The product isn't bad, I just thought the pic was misleading and worth mentioning.

The nail heads are not like the picture. However I do like the look on this project.The nail Head it’s self is much darker then what appeared in the picture. Be prepared to waste a bunch until you get the feel of how to get the nail in straight. I thought a hundred would be plenty but I had to order a second box to complete my chair.

The spec for this nail was to be a 12mm (7/16) wide head. I received 9mm (6/16). The difference may seem small, but it is major on my project. The nails look miniature. I searched a long time for 11mm nails. Most sellers with this nail model display it at 9mm. These had to be 12mm and it's better than I would have hoped for! I am bitterly disappointed. My project must be delivered in 4 days and it is now too late to order new ones elsewhere.Some nails are crooked but on the lot it's not a big deal. The color is a little darker but it suits me.The nails come in a practical plastic case with an unnecessary measuring tape (150cm, 60in) inside.I give 1 star for not having respected the specifications displayed.
