My sister got me a hydroponic herb garden for my birthday. I was super excited about it and couldn't wait to start growing stuff. A couple of my plants were about an inch tall when I went into the kitchen and discovered my Eastern gray squirrel, Irwin, devouring my tiny tiny Herb garden. Those little plans didn't stand a chance. Well of course the hydroponic system only came with six cones and six caps. So about a day after I got this set I started over and so far everything but one plant is growing pretty well. Honestly, I think it's the seeds that are the reason the one plant is not growing. I don't think it has anything to do with the item.

I have been using my AeroGarden for years, and have had around 30-40% of the seed pods I received from them grow mold instead of plants, either due to poor storage or something else, but when I got these pods, (1) they were super simple to use, (2) they were cheaper per pod, (3) I have better control of my seed sourcing, and (4) no mold so far! My herbs are coming in beautifully. Definitely recommend.

This is utter garbage. The pods are made of some type of spongy rubbery stuff, not sphagnum moss, the baskets are too shorts for the pods. The pods don't expand to fit the baskets or hold the seedlings firmly, so they grow tall and spindly, then fall over. You can't prune them yet so they end up dying. I tossed them and I'm ordering from Aero Garden. I'd order the Aero Garden pods from Amazon but I'm to the point where I really don't trust them anymore. Don't waste your money.

I bought these for my Aero Garden. The seed growing medium is so compact, that my seeds would not go down into it and had a hard time germinating.
