Many seeds were sprouted using these pods. I had no problems at all.

I did not like that. The sponges did not have holes in them so that the seeds could go down and grow.Roots. Can you please give me an idea how to do that so I won’t tear up all my sponges.

These work well for me, and are far cheaper than the original Aerogarden sponges. A couple things to note however. The density of the sponge seems to be tighter than the originals. Some sprouting seeds appear to have a little difficulty getting roots through them until the plant is larger. So growth is slightly slower in the early couple weeks or so. Also, on some sponges I had to bend the basket slightly to have them be at the correct water level, but that is minor. I would purchase again.

These are terrible. They literally feel like a dishwasher sponge (not at all soft), and so unlike soil. Nothing grows in these and they develop mold after three weeks.

These work great! I think they are the best! They stay together. And fit in the holders great!
