This is my first weighted blanket - I like it very much, it’s lovely!I tend to have restless nights when I am stressed, tossing around in bed and waking up multiple times. The best solution would be of course to eliminate the stress - comes from my job - but since the lottery win is not in sight, I have to find other ways to deal with occasional phase related stress. This blanket is perfect. It calms me, and due to the weight - not too heavy, as I followed the instructions on how to determine the right weight- I do not toss around so much. The latter has two positive effects: better quality sleep and - believe it or not- less back pain.Only - halfway - negative thing is the weight together with the fact this blanket is kind of addictive: I’d like to take it with me for every trip. Which I have a lot. Unfortunately often with public transportations so it means carrying additional 20lbs with me - yay!I have had this blanket only a few weeks but it has already improved my life quality. I can only recommend it- give it a try, it really can help you rest better. Based on the first week's impression of the blanket, I doubt there will be any issues with durability or keeping it clean. It is good solid quality, and well made. Highly recommended as the best relaxation gift.

I'm 5 ft 10 about 185-200 pd. And have used 15 pound weighted blanket in the past and has worked fun but I wanted heavier. I went with the 30 pound and an very happy I did. Sleeping on a full size bed it drapes the size and holds me down nicely. It's more difficult to make the bed now lol. It's very soft love how it comes with the duvet. I misunderstood and thought it came with a separate cooling sheet to put on besides the warm duvet but it does not. Must find a sheet that can attach to it for the summer. I'm very happy with this blanket. I'm excited more than usual to get into bed.

This product is fantastic. I’ve slept with it for 5 nights and here are my impressions:Duvet covers: Perfect. One is a luxuriously soft blanket-like fabric on both sides (with the raised circles on the top side only), and the other is made of the same soft, light fabric sheets are made of on both sides. Both duvets are blue on one side and light gray on the other, with a long zipper along one end and several ties inside to tie to the little loops along the edges of the weighted blanket itself. The ties stay tightened very well.Weight: I weigh about 115 pounds and bought the 12-pound blanket. It feels great. When I first got in bed I immediately felt comfortable under it. It’s amazing. The amount of pressure is soothing.Size: The 48x72†size is perfect for me.. It doesn’t move around or let drafts of air in, so it doesn’t need to be bigger. In fact, I wouldn’t want it any bigger. It would be cumbersome to have it hanging over the sides of the bed, due to the weight. It keeps me warm because it stays diwn around me, but it doesn’t feel too heavy. Occasionally it feels heavy on my toes right after I get into bed. That is easily fixed by creating some height around me toes within the blanket.Temperature: even with the warmer duvet cover on, the blanket feels cool when I get into bed unless I warm up the blanket with a heating pad and turn up the heat in the room for a while before bed. Otherwise it sucks the heat out of me and I feel cold. When that happened the first few nights, I added some blankets on top. But then I fell asleep and woke up hours later blazing hot. The glass beads retain the heat longer than regular blankets, so it took a while for the blanket to cool down after I took it off me. Major sleep interruption! The same thing happened with the lighter, summertime duvet cover. So I learned to warm up the blanket before bed. I still start with an extra blanket, but I can remove it shortly—before I fall asleep.Bottom line, if you’re looking for a quality weighted blanket with two nice duvet covers, you’re safe with this one.I’m curious if beads of different materials prevent the cooling-heating problem. I can’t say.

Got my blanket yesterday, that sucker was heavy (I got the 18 lb. one). It was already encased in the "faux fur" cover which was cool because it was super duper soft. I got nervous not knowing if this could've been a return and I really wanted to use it right away and didn't have patience to wash it. So I took my chances (it didn't smell funny). It came with the "cool" cover also which resembles a sheet. Now, let me start by saying I'm one of those people that get HOT in the middle of the night. My legs literally catch fire. So bad like I used to stand in front of an open fridge at 3am or put cold wash rags on my legs. I knew this would be a challenge w/ fur and 18lbs but I was up for it.First thing I noticed was I only woke up about 3-4x last night when typically I wake up like 10x per night. I only woke up because my legs got hot and I had to shift them around. But I def stayed asleep longer than normal and that was remarkable. My kid tried to sneak in my bed and get under the covers so that woke me up b/c I had to fight him off as to not disturb my weight distribution ratio. He learned a valuable lesson. If you get cold or stay cold, THIS IS PERFECT FOR YOU. I was just too damn lazy to figure out how to change out covers and I wanted to go to sleep asap. Maybe I'll try tonight. But overall, this thing was great. Lived up to it's expectations. It's def pricey but I think it's worth the investment esp to get a good night's rest. I suffer from fibromyalgia and it didn't bother me at all. For reference, I'm 5'6" and 185 lbs, I got the 18lb 60x80. I would've enjoyed 48x72 but 12 lbs was too light. The size was pretty big. But I think 20 lbs would've been ideal.

The blanket itself was top quality, but their customer service really did it for me. I had an issue with my order and the team really help me until I was satisfied.

The thing I like the most about this blanket is that it gives me the cozy feeling no matter how cold my room temperature is.

This is my first weighted blanket, one I ordered after reading many reviews. I chose the Degrees of Comfort blanket, 48" x 72", 15 pounds. It comes with a plush cover for colder temperatures and a polyester/cotton cover. The plush cover makes it quite warm but I have adjusted to it by not having it right up to my neck. I do have fibromyalgia and wondered if it would be too heavy but I seem to be sleeping soundly, I think it has improved my sleep. It seems to be well made, with zippered opening so you can change the covers and wash them. Pleased that the tan colour turned out to be more of a champagne beige. Attractive.
