Dell OptiPlex 7010 Tower Business Desktop Computer. Good computer with 12th Gen Intel Hexa-Core i5-12500 (Beat i7-11700), 64GB DDR4 RAM, 2TB PCIe SSD, DVDRW, WiFi Adapter, RJ-45, HDMI, Keyboard & Mouse, Windows 11 Pro. I had to buy a HDMI to VGA video adaptor for my older monitor. I would have liked audio jack on the back for my speakers rather than on the front. I'm never a fan of new OS, but getting used to Windows 11. It's fast and quiet. I plan on this computer lasting a long time.

My PC was 12 years old and would not load the new Windows 11, so I needed a new Dell and chose this one. It is meeting my expectations and of course came loaded with Windows 11. I always buy Dell and this was a good value. I love that it is smaller and lighter than my old one. Delivery was quick and efficient.

Te reasons for security protocols are understood, however, when it becomes too difficult or impossible to do what you bought the darn thing for then itis counterproductive. I am actually beginning to dislike this machine.

This PC is a replacement for my 10 year old Dell XPS 8700 which acts as "sever" for the family (2 extra HDDs).The new Optiplex 7010 Tower runs Win11 (old XPS 8700 supposedly can't) and since it came with a PCle SSD as the "main" drive, I planned for it to take on the family "sever" function. It has a total of 3 SATA ports so it is capable of handling the 2 additional "server" drives (2.5" SSDs). BUT it didn't come with the 2.5" Hard Drive Caddy. It took some searching, but I found the correct caddy is the same metal one used in earlier Dell 3080 family - 2.5" HHD Caddy Bracket 9T3F1. Pic attached.Note if you don't have a supply of SATA cables, you'll need to purchase 2. One that came with the 7010 Tower was too short (reaches the 3.5" HHD mounting location).

As an IT professional I was very happy with this purchase. It was easy to hook up and transfer material and data from my old computer to the new one.

First would like to thank the people who included the EDUP wifi adapter with this computer. Thought I was put in a time warp back to the eighties, when you had a 56k telephone modem that took around 20 minutes to load the front page of AOL. Speed check gave an download of 3mbps upload of around 1mbps with worst case latency of over 2 seconds. Just buy a good adapter (purchased a tp-link AC1300) and now gets over 170mbps both download and upload. The computer itself is everything it said it is. Fast power on, and works as intended.

Our computer crashed and we needed a new one. Our repair guy recommended this one. Great option for the price. So far so good!
