Probably not as sturdy or lacks the quality appearance of the original but fit fine and works great. I followed the instructions and charged and discharged the battery the first few times. I just left the radio on unattended a few times until it died. Now it holds charge and works just as new. Still love the old Delphi MyFi. I will be sorry when it decides to quit.

This was cheaper then the competition, so I was initially worried. However, it fit easily in the Tao XM to go I purchased it for, and worked immediately. It looked a little bit more flimsy then the one that came with the unit. (It is covered with what I thought at first was a wrapper that peeled off, but turned out to be part of the battery). It arrived quickly in a very small envelope. The plus was no wasteful, environmentally unfriendly packaging. The minus was my father initially thought it was junk mail.

If you still have the XM Satellite Radio, Delphi MyFi from 2003 like I do, you need to replace the battery every few years.Yes, I still have one of the early Delphi MyFi XM radios. The radio cost $350.00 back then and was the first XM radio that could record broadcasts but it still works great and I continue to use it. After a few years, the battery will swell from all the charging and needs to be replaced. This replacement battery fits great and works well too.

First off, the battery delivered does not look like the picture on the Amazon page. That picture shows a battery that looks just like the original one in the Delphi MyFi. What arrives is a battery from Cameron Sino Technology model CS-XM2SL. I bought several of those elsewhere that looked similar and they failed but I hoped the one on Amazon would work. From what instructions I have seen, they suggest that you charge up the battery and cycle it several times. MOST IMPORTANTLY, they say do not continue to charge the battery after it is charged. This must be the fatal flaw, as those of us that use the MyFi in our home docking stations must leave it in the charger to power out the audio. The original battery worked fine this way and lasted for many years. This battery is worthless. I will continue to search to see if I can find a replacement that works like the original did, but I am starting to lose hope that I will find one that will let you charge the battery and leave it in the home docking station.

Got my MyFi mobile again. It is 15 years old and still going strong, but the battery had failed. I like to take it with me when I walk.

Doesn't keep a charge well at all, goes down in less than a day in the device when the device is turned off. Too late for Amazon return. It took a while to condition the battery as required by the manufacturer.
