The Delphi Roady XT Home Kit allows you to play the through your home audio system. It includes a home docking station, remote control, AC power adapter, indoor/outdoor antenna, and an audio patch cable. The high-gain antenna gives you interior or exterior mounting options, and features a hinged base for flexible positioning. The antenna can be placed on any horizontal surface or mounted vertically to a wall. Delphi and XM radio recommend that the antenna be positioned near a south-facing window or outdoors with a clear view of the southeastern sky to receive the satellite signal.
The included remote control is compact and contains a numeric keypad and a variety of buttons that make it easy to navigate XM radio from the comfort of your couch. The docking station is simple with a proprietary XT Roady interface, power input, antenna signal input, and audio output. Power is supplied via a round, five-volt DC connector for connecting the AC adapter; a single SMB connector is used to connect the XM antenna; and the 3.5-millimeter mini-jack supplies a stereo audio output.
Note: An XM satellite radio subscription (sold separately) is required to listen to XM satellite programming.

I have a Delphi Roady XT that I use in the car and I have the Roady XM Radio Roady XT Home Kit (SA10176) at the house. I now have one in my office. Works great! You can put headsets on it for privacy or hook it to amplified speakers which I have done, or hook it to the AUX input of a stereo. You can actually hook it to the speakers that are built into an LCD monitor, which I tried but I prefer the stand alone amplified speakers since I can easily control the volume using the old fashioned "knob."With my Roady XT and 3 setups (car, office and home) I can move the receiver around and only pay a single subscription fee. This works out great since I cannot be in two places at once much less three! Highly recommend this item.

The product itself is fine.Ridiculous amount of equipement just to get radio???? They are making money hand over fist on all this unecessary stuff you have to buy and then poor sound. But they claim close to cd quality and it is closer to mp3. The content is there just not the sound quality needed to really enjoy the music. And by the way keep an eye on your account with them (xm) you can read some of the consumer complaints and most are related to unapproved charges,inflated charges, bad customer service. I just signed up 2 weeks ago so I will have to see if they are as bad as the comments posted. But anyway the home kit is fine, You really dont have a choice but to buy it if you want this overpriced service to work from home.

I am sure this product is great but it did not say will not work with XM (Audio Vox)head units.

This Home Kit does as advertised and it does connect your Delphi radio to your home stereo or any speaker combination. Everything works well and the connection is easy. If you are changing from a Sirius setup to an XM setup then you do not even have to change antennas. Just plug in the old one. The only improvement that I would make would to have included the ability to broadcast the radio signal wirelessly around the house, over an FM frequency, just like the auto unit and the Sirius home dock do.

My 2 star rating has nothing to do with the quality of the item, just with the price. You get the home docking station, an AC adapter, the home antenna, a cable and a remote. It just seemed a little weird to have to spend about the same as the radio itself to get items that you really need to enjoy your Roady XT at home. I think Delphi should sell a unit that has *everything* you need to enjoy Satellite Radio in your car and your home for a really fair price.

This kit is perfect for what I needed. Had the radio in the truck but on leaving the vehicle I wanted to keep listening. The home kit was perfect. Only one drawback make sure you have a clear unobstructed view of the South sky in North America. Highly recommended, loved the remote for touch free operation. Antenna cord was just long enough to reach from my desk to a south facing window in my boss' office. About 30 feet.

When I bought my new car, it had builtin XM Radio, making transfer of my Roady XT from my old car unnecessary. The Home kit was just what I needed for using my Roady with my bedroom stereo. It works just as advertised.Now, I'm the proud owner of 4 XM radios!

When we received it we had a hard time turning it on. When we pushed the on button the screen flickered , then after multiple attempts it came on,and it was left on for weeks. Now after shutting it off it will not start up - not a good sign for a recommendation. Is there a chance for a replacement ?

It didn't meet my expectations because the remote was not compatible with my Delphi roady xt reciever. My model number for my receiver is sa10177 and the home kit is for a sa10175 receiver only. I didn't know that when I ordered it because it did not explain that in the description of the item.Amazon was helpful through the whole issue and said they would update the description for that item so no one would run into the same problem.
