I used these with nylon tubing and brass fittings, and they have not leaked. I have had leaks with other brass sleeves but not these.

only had to use 3 of these but now I have spares.. this is one common size for compression

They are exactly what they’re supposed to be. Most of the reviews here that are negative it’s because the user wasn’t qualified to use these without instructions. Yes you need a brass insert on poly tubing if you are using these. The price is great. Hardware stores sell 2 of these with 2 brass inserts for $1.50 more than all 25 of these ferrules

but you can get these at local store for same price. This product is the Watts item you find at all places that sell plumbing items.
