Good quality, easy to install. Used it for a secondary filter for my parts washer, works well.

This bare bones kit is perfect. The mount I received did not have the extra boss cast into it for a temp sender like is shown in the product photo but I was able to easily drill and tap for a temp sender in the side of the inlet. Works perfectly for a remote mount ATF filter. Many people ask which filters fit this mount. Every filter I looked up that had 3/4-16 threads also had the correct o-ring diameter to fit. I ended up settling on a Motorcraft fL400S because of the smaller diameter and because it fits both our jeeps for engine oil as well.

Fore the price, this is the way to go! The kits came with a different size hose fitting than my truck, so I went out and bought all the fitting and used fuel injector clamps, which allow a tighter seal than worm gear clamps. Make sure you use thread tape to prevent leaks. I Used a Baldwin B2 filter as they came highly recommended, and all said and done, I spent around $70. Hopefully this cleans up my transmission and keeps me on the road for less. I mounted it on top of a frame rail, behind my skid plate, and this location should award some addition cooling to the system as well as an easy place to connect a hose for my upcoming transmission flush. One thing to mention: There are burrs inside the housing left from machining. They are small enough to eventually come loose and end up in the oil, so I took a small round file and cleaned it up, spraying it out with compressed air before mounting and plumping in the cooler lines. Give it a once- over before you install it. I will put this housing on all my future vehicles.UPDATE 5/13/2020My shifts are much softer after about 500 miles. I have yet to change to transmission fluid unit when I do, I will be happy I did this! Much easier access to drain at the remote filter location as opposed to dropping the transmission pan. I will most likely change the pan filter at some point but provided there Is no large debris in the pan, I shouldn’t have to because this filter setup collects over 30x smaller particles.

Worked fine for retrofitting a parts washer. Just be careful when ordering a filter to make absolutely sure it matches the threads on the relocation adapter. For some reason Amazon paired a 13/16's filter with a 3/4 relocation kit as "Frequently bought together". If this is true, then lots of people are disappointed when the filter won't screw on. At least Amazon made good on the filter and I got the right one locally...

Used for a Kaiser Flathead 6. Good quality. Using a classic Ford PH8A filter.

Used this to install a spin on transmission filter.I definitely feel better about a finer filter than the one in the pan aka rock screen...I plan on putting a new filter on at every oil change. If you intend on trying to get more miles out of a filter I'd reccomend installing a pressure gauge AFTER the filter to monitor for restriction, if it were to become restricted you could smoke a transmission pretty quick.Another note is to be careful about what filter you choose although a Fl1A will fit I'm not convinced it is the best choice it actuall takes quite a bit of pressure to overcome the anti drainback valve of most "oil" filters, the last thing you want is any unneeded restrictions in the cooler/lube flow path.I used a Wix 51525 filter which is listed as a hydraulic filter it has no drainback valve and a good flow rate, also I put a giant magnet on the end of it.
