DESCRIPTION
The complete kit includes a weldless bulkhead assembly to convert any kettle or converted keg (kegler) without welding, includes Instructions. It has standard 2 piece full port valve, and 1/2" hose barb. It fits into 7/8" drilled hole in kettle or keg wall. All fittings are 304 stainless steel, 1/2" NPT thread.A full coupler has been added in the back of the spigot to allow for the addition of any 1/2" male NPT fitting you need - barb, compression fitting, etc.

I have never seen a valve like this. I used it for a gravity drain valve but I see many other uses I will be using them for.

I lost the ball to my electric brew kettle, probably during cleaning (I open the valve and clean everything inside at least every couple of batches.) I really only needed the ball, but I couldn't find a replacement online and ended up buying this just to get the ball.I didn't remove the valve and replace it, I just put the ball form this into my old valve. So, I can't comment on installation. My valve was not leaking, so I didn't want to risk creating a leak by swapping valves.All-in-all, I do like this style with the screw on barb fitting. Oh, and I had already removed the lock on my old valve, so that was another reason to not swap them. Them things are a hassle!

Works excellent for my 10g GOTT mashtun. The length of the threaded shaft was barely long enough to reach inside the cooler and start the nut. With a little persuasion I got it on. Would be nicer if the threaded shaft was about 1/2 longer.The only think I dislike greatly is the locking tab. Very annoying. I plan on taping the lock tab out of the way. Update: Just used some electrical tape to secure that tab in the open position.

I purchased this based off of its specs and the way the craftsmanship looked on the pictures. I was NOT disappointed. This valve is high quality craftsmanship. All stainless including 1 "O" ring on the thread side. It has a slide lock on the valve handle so you can't accidently turn the valve, which is a nice feature. It was an easy install for my application. Will definitely keep them in mind for future purchases of this type.

Took a big risk and drilled a hole in my brew kettle. I installed this spigot without any difficulty. Brewed my beer with NO LEAKAGE at the penetration. Whew, I was sweating it! Now I'm able to pour my wort directly into my fermenter without siphon tubes and such. I'm ecstatic!

I bought this one and another brand, I usually like the parts from this brand but unfortunately this one misses the mark. The gasket is just a flat washer type seal vs an oring that sets into a machined groove on the other. The nut is just threaded hex stock cut. No rounded edges, making the points cut into the workpiece. It also could benefit from a washer for under the nut.

Wish I had a picture! Installed it on our mapple syrup evaporator and it never leaked hot or cold. Didn't need yo weld it and even when its boiling the handle is cool to the touch and can be used. Exactly as expected.

Exactly as expected. The only thing I don't like is the little "locking" piece of metal attached to the handle....but it was easy enough to remove.
