Had a lot of steering wheel play in my 2000 Z71. Replaced all parts that come in this kit. All play is now gone!

Let's start with the fact that it states this is for a 4wd how ever it definitely is not. I have used Detroit axles brake and caliper packages and have not been disappointed. However this front end kit is absolute garbage. I have a worktruck and do not drive my personal vehicle often. Maybe sees 5000 miles a year. I got this kit to replace worn out parts. Ordered the kit Nov 2021, finally put the kit on in April or may of 2022. By September the truck was undriveable due to the parts being so bad the passenger tire would turn inwards or outwards on its own do to the slop. The 3bolt power steering gear is not for 4wd, 4wd models have a 4bolt housing. So the gear wouldn't even turn the tires sitting still. Seems like all they did was put new rubber boots on already worn out parts. In conclusion don't waste your time and just go ahead and buy the new MOOG or AcDelco parts.

This bolted up all fine and well, but they should have included a new plastic cover for the bottom of the steering gear nut, or had instructions on install indicating it needed to be kept from original.

Part looks remanufactured, out of the box was flaking paint seal looks like its been painted over, can't even make out part number on the steering box, dings and corrosion easily visible. Not impressed in the slightest returning immediately.

I received a defective power steer gear box, leaks from top nut/seal. Did not know it leaked till it was installed and the previous one was disposed of the same day it was installed. Now I have to buy another and tear everything apart again. Buyer beware, costly if having these installed and it starts to leak.
