This cube is supposed to be a speed cube. It snags a lot, slowing down the time it takes to solve. I wouldn’t categorize this as such. It’s just a normal cube.

This cube is made with quality, is durable, and turns great! I have the 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4 in this line and my favorite part about these cubes is the frosted texture on the plastic which makes the cubes very easy to grip. This cube turns very smooth, but can get caught up on the inner layers. Corner cutting good although it not as well as the 3x3 but that is expected with a 4x4. The instruction manual is great and was very helpful when I was stuck on parity.I am very satisfied with this purchase!

It’s a functional 4x4 cube. It’s kind of sloppy and doesn’t really snap to the next position. This makes it bind up if you’re going for anything approaching speed. If you’re looking to get a basic cube to learn how to solve the 4x4 at the I’m figuring this out for the first time … then this cube works fine. Not a speed cube in any sense. Anything past that this is just a desk ornament or a kids toy to step on in the middle of the night.
