I ordered these to replace some Plastic buckles that were on the straps that hold my fold down kayak seats in the upright position. The plastic buckles broke while on the water when I shifted my weight back on the seat to retrieve something. These seem to be holding up well and were a good fit for the 1 inch strap.

I used these ladder locks to replace the cheap plastic ones that had broken on my backpack. Each piece feels very solid and durable, and the gunmetal finish is amazing. They maintain a nice stiffness, or tightness, that other ladder locks I've used don't. Overall very satisfied, and I still have 8 more!

Works well. Look very nice!.This is not a criticism but I would like to see this exact same product made so that both ends were designed to be adjustable rather than just the one end.

They are metal and the gun-metal color gives a nice dark chrome look. Consistent and well finished.

While these buckles are gorgeous, and add a lot of style to your piece (in my case a backpack), they are not the easiest to adjust once the project is completed. They are beautiful though, you just pay in the functionality.
