I used them to cut glass tiles. Worked well but be patient and wear eye protection.

I haven't had an opportunity to use these wheels yet, but I have used similar wheels to cut pieces of Sterling Silver and straight cuts on glass and they work just fine. Slow going, protection for hands, and the safety glasses a must!

I had to cut some 16ga steel sheet and these worked surprisingly well. I didn't cut a 4' chunk.... Just had to enlarge an existing mounting hole.Worked fine.

I would looking for Dremel wheels for cutting different materials. The diamond cutting wheel will be great for cutting hard materials.
