Great toy for one year old, and especially for holding his attention. His time spent, after other gifts were opened, was first with this toy. It really captured his attention with the noise, repetitive nature appeared to make him smile for doing the same thing over again. But, the many facets the toy imparts, is what seemed to be an attention holder for much of his party! Recommended...

I LOVE THESE Montessori kids to keep them entertain and help them develope skills for later on especially learning skills and puzzles, it makes them think harder and it makes them move and stay entertained, there’s multiple sides to this toy and allows them to make music as well which will be very beneficial in the future.

This would have been a 5-star product except for one HUGE error. One of the xylophone "drumsticks" arrived broken which is a SERIOUS choking hazard. Thankfully I saw it, but if this was opened on Christmas morning or a birthday party when it's boisterous and chaotic and the kids are all going crazy opening gifts - it could have been a nightmare. It's essential to triple check all children's toys! Otherwise, it's a beautiful toy with lots of fun entertainment. The whack-a-mole game is super fun. The colors are beautiful and all the edges are smooth and strong. It's a fantastic toy, but I'll be throwing away the broken mallet just in case!

At our house, we love Montessori toys! They help a child with the development of motor and developmental skills while keeping them busy and from behind a screen. This toy is perfect for 1 year olds and will make a great present. The only issue I have with this toy is that the ball comes off the stick, I glued it on and haven't had any issues with it afterwards.

I have a special needs child in my care and her along with the other kiddos in our family home love this toy. I have seen such a significant improvement in her depth and distance perception! playing with each little part and figuring out the way this toy works has kept her busy and helped her get a little more closer to being up to date with her cognitive functions. love this toy ! and it's super ! great little addition for our family.

The Dinorun Montessori Toys Wooden Hammer Pounding Toy is the perfect gift for a young toddler. The wood is well crafted and painted beautifully. Each side of this cube has a different activity to keep your child engaged. What we liked most about this cube is the fact that the activities can grow with your child. Depending on where they are developmentally, there is an activity that meets those needs. They are going to love banging and making noise on the xylophone, and the Whack a mole activity was a huge hit! This would make a great gift at a baby shower or for Christmas. I would definitely order again.
